On November 25th, Magna Powertrain Jiangxi (MPJ) rolled its first 7DCT400 dual-clutch transmission off the production line.

A celebration was held in the plant and many employees signed their names on a signature wall to celebrate this exciting moment.

“After one year of preparations, it’s exciting to see the first localized 7DCT400 unit is in production,” said Wang Yi, MPJ General Manager. “The localization of 7DCT400 further extends MPT China’s dual-clutch transmission product portfolio to large-torque applications, to support growing SUV and pick-up business whose torque is above 350Nm.”
