Magna presented its hybridized and electrified powertrain systems, light-weight body & chassis solutions, and exterior systems and modules at its Tech Day in China. The event at Chery’s R&D Center in Wuhu, China on June 30th attracted more than 300 visitors!

Magna has been Chery's long-term and close partner for many years and plays a significant role in Chery’s success in the fields of powertrain, exteriors and mirrors, etc.,” Zhang, Guozhong said, the Vice President of Chery, in his opening speech at the Magna Tech Day. “Magna is oriented by customer needs and goes beyond Chery’s expectations with excellent products and services.  We are looking forward to reinforcing further cooperation with Magna.”

Sean Li, Vice President Corporate Development & Alliances, Managing Director Asia for Powertrain, moderated an executive tour for Chery’s leadership team from R&D, Purchasing and Supplier Quality Engineering.

The team was impressed by Magna’s innovations and endeavors towards future mobility. The four technical presentations around Magna’s dedicated hybrid drives, eDrive technology, innovative exterior technology, and complete body & chassis solutions were also well attended and sparked conversations with the audience.
